The pathway to abortion has never been an easy one. Magma’s fundamental belief is that abortion, quite simply, is health. The provision of it should be as easy as any other health care service out there.
We are the largest provider of abortion services in Aotearoa. Operating a national telehealth service alongside our in-clinic services across four DHB regions.
The Women’s Clinic also provides contraception and sexual health services, both as part of the abortion journey and as a stand alone service.

Home is where the healing is
We pioneered the way for at-home abortion to become the norm and were delivering abortion services via telehealth before abortions were legalised.
We have created a service that is accessible across Aotearoa, where we can wrap kindness, empathy, information, and support around every patient, empowering them to go through the process in their own home or safe space.
